Click on the tribute wall above to view Patricia's video tribute. Patricia Mae Mallon of Taylor formerly of Detroit was born on March 8, 1935 and died on February 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Cherished wife of the late Thomas. Loving mom of Edward Allen, Michael Mallon, Debra Mallon (Frank Parton), Pamela (the late Martin) Sauerman, Patricia Mallon (the late Jerry Elkins), Karen Mallon (the late James Willingham), Cheryl Mallon (Sherman Storie), Mary Mallon, Barbara Mallon, the late Joseph Mallon and Colleen Mallon (Larry Crawford). Also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends. Patricia’s love in life was her family; she was proud of her Polish heritage and had a great love for the Irish heritage that she shared with her husband and family. Patricia was a Detroit Red Wing fan who enjoyed watching Lifetime movies and classic television. She also liked watching Days of Our Lives and WWE wrestling; Roman Reigns was her favorite WWE Wrestler. Visitaiton is on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 3 – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Patricia will lie in state on Monday, March 1, 2021 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 8118 Vernor, Detroit at 9 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. There will be a procession to St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights. Memorial contributions to honor Patricia’s life may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. To those attending visitation and/or services for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
