Patricia was born and raised in River Rouge, Michigan, before moving to Allen Park with her husband and children. These experiences created countless cherished memories as a family, from cross- country trips to the West Coast to exciting cruises through the Caribbean and Mexico.
Patricia, a remarkable woman, graduated from Nursing School in 1958 while simultaneously raising her newborn daughter. Her dedication and commitment led her to work at Lafayette Clinic, where she provided compassionate care to patients struggling with mental health issues. Her passion for knowledge and her unwavering dedication to public service were evident in every aspect of her life.
Patricia’s love for her family was evident in her active and nurturing role as a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, whether it was enjoying summer vacations at the lake house, attending soccer and hockey games, embarking on field trips, celebrating birthday parties, picking up school children, or spending cozy weekend overnights together. Her love for her great grandchildren was equally profound, and she found immense joy in sharing the lake house with them, attending their birthday parties, holidays, and countless FaceTime calls.
In recognition of Patricia’s remarkable life and the unwavering love and care she received from the staff at Hampton Manor of Woodhaven’s Memory Care Unit, her family extends their deepest gratitude.
