Patricia "Patti" Kaiser

Patricia (Patti) Kaiser (nee Zulewski) of Grosse Ile, formerly Southgate, passed away on June 2, 2022 at the age of 83. Pat was born June 12, 1938 to Joe and Catherine Zulewski of Wyandotte. Beloved wife of the late Bill Kaiser for 56 years before his death in 2014. Cherished mother of Bill Jr (Renee), Jeff, Mike, Lisa Kaiser and Amy Kaiser Johnson (Todd). Much loved grandmother of Jordan, Mackenzie and Morgan Kaiser, Evan, Emma, and Jack Johnson, Jessica McHale and Chelsea Albertie. Oldest sister of Tom (Karon) Zulewski, the late Susan (Ron) Arnold, Karen (Bob) Januszek and the late Connie (Mike) Weede. Pat attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel grade school, Roosevelt high school, Eastern Michigan University and worked in the metallurgical department at Great Lakes Steel before becoming a stay at home Mom.Pat enjoyed traveling and she loved her trip to Europe. Pat kept her five children active in sport and music activities, she especially enjoyed watching her son play baseball at WMU and professionally. Pat was a 38 year member of St. Pius Church and became known as “Popcorn Patti” for her many years of running the popcorn booth at the parish festivals. She also spent countless hours volunteering at Aquinas High School for over 15 years. Some of Pat’s favorite activities were found with her “Club”, a group of friends from high school who enjoyed lunches and dominoes, as well as yearly trips to Caseville. She also looked forward to planning her high school class reunions and catching up with classmates through the years. Pat cherished watching her grandkids play their various sports and could always be found in the stands supporting and cheering them on. Pat lived a full and loving life, she wanted to thank everyone who was a part of it and she said “Love to everyone and God Bless you all.”
