Patricia Lilian Roberts

Patricia Lilian Roberts, née Blackmore, passed away on September 20, 2026, in Grosse Ile, Michigan, at the age of 90. She was born on February 15, 1936, in Birmingham, England, and lived a life marked by devotion to family, steady work, and simple joys that brought warmth to those around her.

Patricia worked as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry, bringing care and dedication to her profession. Beyond her work, she found happiness in the things she loved most. She loved animals, enjoyed watching tennis matches on TV, and took pleasure in traveling to Tennessee and Fort Myers, Florida, as well as going on cruises. These interests reflected her spirited nature and her appreciation for both companionship and adventure.

More than anything, Patricia absolutely adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Her love for them was at the center of her life and will remain one of the most treasured parts of her legacy. She will be remembered for the affection she gave so freely and for the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Patricia is survived by her son, Brendan Roberts, and by her daughter Jacqueline (Andy) Morrison. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Desmond, Teagan, and Finley. Family was a cherished part of Patricia’s life, and the love they shared with her will continue to carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Desmond Roberts; her sisters, Margaret Morris and Edna Carney; her mother, Sylvia Blackmore; and her Gran, Nora Blackmore.

Patricia will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory lives on in the family she cherished so dearly, and in the many quiet, lasting ways she made life brighter for those around her.
