Patricia Sword

Patricia Ann Sword, age 78, was born on October 16, 1947, in New Boston, Michigan, and passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia had a kind and caring heart and spent much of her life caring for others, whether through babysitting or helping family and loved ones whenever they needed her. She loved bowling, treasured trips Up North, adored her many fur babies, and was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan.

Patricia is survived by her loving daughter, Kristina Sword-Wylie; her grandchildren, Amanda Wylie, Victoria Wylie, Samantha Wylie (Ray Gallagher), and Brendan Sword; and her great-grandchildren, Benjamin Gallagher, Andrew Rice, Atlas Sword, and Archie Sword.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert G. Sword; her son, Robert B. Sword; her parents, Phyllis and Albert Kittle; her sisters, Nancy Kittle and Bonnie Shilliday; her brother, Albert Kittle Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Cleveland and Helen Sword.

Visitation will take place at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Tuesday, July 21 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 22, at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
