Paul M. Federoff, a devoted husband, loving father, and
cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Trenton,
Michigan, at the age of 84. Born on September 6, 1941, in Erie, Pennsylvania,
Paul lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a deep appreciation for
family.
For 30 years, Paul served as a Coating and Corrosion
Supervisor at Ford Motor Company, becoming a respected figure within the
industry through his unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence. He
also proudly served in the U.S. Navy, an experience that instilled in him the
values of discipline and service which carried through to every aspect of his
life.
He served onboard the USS Enterprise, CVAN-65 for four
years. He was a plankowner of the first nuclear power air craft carrier. He served on its maiden voyage with
highlights including meeting John F Kennedy and John McCain.
Paul held many passions, with woodworking, fishing, and an avid reader among his
favorites. As a woodworker he touched the hearts of many family members and
friends by making cradles for their babies. A fan of University of Michigan
sports, he often found joy in bonding with family and friends over shared
victories and game days. He took immense pride in his family, who were at the
center of his world. He reveled in the warmth of family gatherings, always
eager to share stories and laughter, creating cherished memories that will
forever resonate in the hearts of his loved ones.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Sally
Federoff, who was not only his partner in life but also his closest friend. They
enjoyed travelling and spending time at their retreat in the Irish Hills.
Together they nurtured a wonderful family, which includes
their children, Natalie (Mark) Durica and Paul S. (Erin) Federoff. Paul's
legacy continues through his grandchildren, Patrick, Danny, Molly, and Cole,
who brought him endless joy and made his heart swell with pride.
Paul also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Norman Gregor,
as well as a host of nieces and nephews: Mark (Brenda), Steve (Diane), Rich
(Michelle), Mandy (Andrew), Joe (Keri), Amy (Alan), and Michael (Tami). Each of
them carries a piece of Paul with them, remembering his laughter, kindness, and
the wisdom he shared.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Hazel
Federoff, and his siblings, Natalie Gregor and David Federoff. Their memories
remained close to his heart, a testament to his strong family bonds.
