Raper, Pauline D. Age 86 of Garden City. Born February 15, 1927 in Sparta, TN and went to be with Jesus on May 3, 2013. Beloved mother of Dennis (Lorraine) Roper, Lanny (Beulah) Raper, Steven (Sue) Raper, Michael (Linda) Raper, Paulette Rapier, and Esther (Tim) Woodward. Cherished grandmother of Denise, Brent, the late Michelle, the late Ted, Mark (Stacy), Abraham (Amanda), Eric (Carrie), Stephen, Karen (William), Brian (Mandy), Paul, Melanie and Jessica. Loving great grandmother of 11 and great great grandmother of 2. Dearest sister of Willard (Beulah) Johnson and Francis (the late Jeff) Maynard. Also survived by her former spouse Fred Raper as well as many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Wiley and Vera (nee: Roberts) Johnson and 1 sister Ruth (the late J.C.) Foster. Pauline's passion in life was her love for Jesus and her family. She graduated with honors from the Sweetwater High School in Tennessee and enjoyed music and playing the guitar as well as writing songs and poetry.
