Peter Biddle

Peter Biddle, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 5, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, Peter lived a life rich in experiences and memories that will be cherished by those who knew him.

Peter was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He found great joy in the company of his wife, Janis Biddle, and their children. Peter was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Biddle, but leaves behind two sons, Andrew (Shawn) Biddle and Jason (Nancy) Biddle, alongside step-sons David (Linda) Morin and Jeffrey Morin. He was a proud grandfather to Madison, Luke, Lauren, Megan, Evan, Erik "Felix," Alec, Sydney, Faith, and Delaney, as well as a great-grandfather to Lilly Ann.

Peter’s military service in the Army and the Ohio National Guard from 1963 to 1967 reflected his dedication to his country. His commitment did not end with his service; he continued to lead a life filled with passion and interests that endeared him to many. Peter was an avid traveler and loved both sail-boating and ice-boating on Lake Erie. In addition, his passion for classic cars led him to dedicate time to restoring them, revealing his appreciation for craftsmanship and history.

Throughout his life, one of Peter’s proudest accomplishments was founding the Downriver Model "A" Club with his wife, a testament to his love for both the classic automobiles and community engagement.

Peter is also survived by his sister, Pat, and was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel. His legacy of love, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will forever be remembered by all whose lives he touched.
