Listen to Obituary

Polly Lynne Kenzie, beloved mother, grandmother, best friend, and the unwavering heart of her family, passed away on March 22nd, 2026 at the age of 68.

Born on October 11th, 1957 in Dearborn, Michigan, Polly lived a life defined by deep love, unshakable faith, quiet strength, and boundless generosity. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. As a mother, she was extraordinary—selfless in every way, fiercely devoted, and endlessly supportive. To her children and those closest to her, she was more than family—she was a safe place, a constant source of comfort, laughter, and guidance.

Polly’s spirit was radiant and unforgettable. Her strong faith and love for Jesus was immeasurable. She carried warmth wherever she went, lighting up rooms not just with her smile, but with her kindness and genuine care for others. She found joy in bringing people together—whether through family gatherings filled with love, nights of laughter and karaoke, or simply being present for those who needed her. She gave freely of herself asking for nothing in return, always putting others before her own needs, helping others thrive and her compassion left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She cherished her family above all else—her children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews were the center of her world. Her love for them was fierce, protective, and unconditional, and it will continue to surround them even in her absence.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Kenzie; her sisters, Judy Radice (Paul) and Barbara Smith (Gary); her brother, James Kenzie; her sons, Kris Szubeczak and Jimmy Kenzie; her daughter, Angela Greenwood (Brad); her cherished grandchildren, Cody Miller, Dylan Greenwood, and Calleigh Greenwood; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, James Kenzie.

Though our hearts are profoundly broken, we take comfort in knowing that Polly’s legacy is one of extraordinary love, resilience, and grace. She was a true warrior—facing life’s challenges with courage while never losing her softness or her ability to care for others. Her love will continue to guide us, her strength will inspire us, and her memory will live on in every life she touched.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
