Randy Anthony Pribyl, born on May 17, 1958, in Monroe, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, in his hometown. He led a fulfilling life marked by dedication to his family and a strong work ethic throughout his career in underground utility construction, where he served for 30 years before recently retiring.
Randy was known for his quick sense of humor and his steadfast nature. He possessed a private demeanor, often choosing to keep his thoughts and feelings to himself; however, those who knew him well were aware of his unwavering love and commitment to his family. He was often regarded as a figure of strength and reliability, stepping in as a father to raise children and grandchildren as his own while ensuring that they understood the value of hard work.
An avid animal lover, Randy shared his life with numerous dogs, showcasing a passion for pets that was matched by his love for outdoor activities. He enjoyed hunting rabbits and deer, as well as fishing and boating, finding solace and joy in the natural world. Randy was also a devoted fan of the University of Michigan and the Detroit Red Wings, often attending games to support his teams. His annual cruises provided him with treasured experiences, creating lasting memories with family.
Randy leaves behind his loving partner Laura. As well as his siblings Mike, Brenda and other loving family members and friends
Randy was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lillian and father, Carl Pribyl. And his late siblings, Ronnie, Bonnie, and Karen.
Visitation will be held on September 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Allore Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 203 E Elm Ave, Monroe, MI 48162. The interment will take place on September 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery, 909 North Monroe Street, Monroe, MI 48162.
Randy Anthony Pribyl will be remembered for his unique blend of humor, responsibility, and devotion to family. His impact will continue to be felt by those who loved him and whom he cherished deeply.
