Richard G. Chasey

Richard George Chasey, of Grosse Ile, died peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on July 9, 2023.

Richard was born in Detroit on January 19, 1942 to Herman and Josephine (Bushing) Chasey. He was a graduate of Cass Technical High School and worked for Campbell Ewald Advertising for many years before retiring as a vice president in 1995.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Louise (Toris) Chasey; daughter, Kathy (Matt) Cuddy; grandsons, Derek (Torey), Sean, and Ryan of Grosse Ile; sister, Florence (Milt) of Richardson, Texas; nephew, Ty (Mandi) of Alger, Michigan. Richard is predeceased by his parents, his brother, Fred, and nephew, Kyle Chasey.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
