Robert A. Wain, Sr.

Born in Temperance, Robert was the son of Arthur and Ina (Bird) Wain. A lifelong farmer, he was married to Betty Butler on October 13, 1956. Sadly she preceded him in death February 21, 1989. He then married Dora Butler-Mann on January 20, 1990. Robert enjoyed woodworking and gardening and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Belleville. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, Dora, his wife of the past 28 years; children: Robert (Jayne) Wain Jr. of Kensal, North Dakota, Penny Wain of Tecumseh, Gloria Wain of Tecumseh and Scott (Cheryl) Wain of Tecumseh; step children: Leah Mann of Milan, Anthony Mann of Ypsilanti, Craig (Christina) Mann of Maybee Elizabeth (Mark) Wawrzaszek of Ypsilanti and Donna Mann of Clifford; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two sisters: Betty Bodine of Monroe and Irene (John) Bogi of Monroe. In addition to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three children: Kriston Tucker, Dawn Lyons and Pamela Wain; six siblings: Elizabeth Engel, Arthur Wain Jr., Luella Lindner, Charles Wain, Richard Wain and Gloria Wain
