Robert Brian Shingleton

Born in Wyandotte, Robert was the son of Bernard and Lilly (Bampton) Shingleton. A graduate of Wyandotte Roosevelt High School, he worked as a Machinist. Robert’s interests included literature, music and genealogy.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings: James Shingleton and Judith May Smith; as well as his nieces and nephews: Dave Smith, Sue (Lee) Swinney, Linda (Richard) Vance, Bill (Judy) Smith, Jenny (Dave) Smith, . Elise (mike) Metric, Dan (Leslie) Shingleton, Heather (Chris) Petersen

“Uncle Brian” was the title he held for the late Amy Foster (Darrell Jr.), Jenna (George), Shane, Sara (Nick), and Mariah. Yet, he was much more than an uncle. They are honored to have been referred to as his “kids”.
