Robert "Rob" Keramidas

Robert "Rob" Keramidas, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on May 20, 1956, in Wyandotte, Michigan. Rob was a beloved figure in his tight knit community and brought joy and kindness to all who knew him throughout his remarkable life. He was a man of great generosity, often giving to local causes and supporting those in need with a heart full of compassion.

Rob took immense pride in his family, especially his daughters, Lauren (Francis) Gardiner and Leslie Keramidas, who were among his proudest accomplishments. As a grandfather, he adored his grandchildren, Mason and Grace Gardiner, who brought endless laughter and love to his life. He will also be deeply missed by his long time partner, Patricia Thomas, and her sons, Chad, Richie, and Adam; by his brothers Harry (Renee), David (Darlene), Gary, and Richard; by his niece Tina (Al) Bak; and by many other nieces, nephews, and friends who held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his family and friends, he is remembered for his quick wit and his love of Corvettes, fireworks, cop shows, and classic rock—and for his favorite holiday, when he could spend hours behind the wheel, roaming neighborhoods lit with dazzling displays of the Christmas spirit.

Rob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Gus and Lucille Keramidas, as well as his siblings Dennis, Michael and Connie (the late Dennis) Wilson, each of whom he held dear in memory and spirit.

A visitation will be held on September 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, Michigan. A funeral service will follow that same day at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, allowing friends and family to come together, to celebrate Rob’s wonderful life, share stories, and honor his legacy. 

Rob leaves behind a lifetime of devotion, deep bonds and treasured memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
