Rodney A. St. Louis

Rodney A. St. Louis, age 80 of Lincoln Park, passed away on September 18, 2026.

Born November 10, 1945 in Detroit, he was the son of Arthur and Viola (Aronson) St. Louis.  Rodney lived a life marked by service, steady work, and enduring connection to the communities and organizations that mattered to him. He proudly served his country as a Navy veteran, a commitment that reflected strength and dedication.  Rodney married the love of  his life, Shirley Jean Miller on May 17, 1974.  Sadly she preceded him in death January 15, 2019. In his working years, he was a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad, a role that spoke to his reliability and the quiet importance of a job done well.

Beyond his work and military service, Rodney found fellowship and camaraderie through the Southwest Athletic Club, as well as the American Legion and the VFW. These affiliations were part of the fabric of his life and reflected the value he placed on friendship, shared experience, and belonging.

Rodney’s memory will be carried forward by those who loved him most. He is survived by his son, Ed Green, and his daughter, Stacey (Mark) Hudson. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, each part of the living legacy of his family. May they find comfort in the memories they shared with him and in the lasting place he holds in their hearts.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Arlene Marek.
