Roy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his generous heart, curious mind, and unwavering love for his family. He was a man of many interests and talents, finding joy in painting and expressing his creativity through art. A passion he was devoted to for more than 40 years. Another passion was stamp collecting, a hobby he started as a young boy.
As a sports fan, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams and sharing the excitement of the game with others. He was a proud graduate of Cardinal Hayes HS in the Bronx and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He went on to earn an MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Above all, he cherished his family especially Joan, his childhood sweetheart and wife of 66 years. He took great pride in the time spent together as a family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. His kindness, intelligence, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born and raised in New York City, he was the beloved husband of Joan for 66 years.
