Roger A. Belanger, a dedicated and long-time employee of Unistrut in Wayne, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, in Southgate, Michigan. Born on August 6, 1969, in Dearborn, Michigan, Roger lived a life marked by steadfast commitment to his work and the deep bonds he shared with his family and community.
Roger’s professional journey was closely intertwined with Unistrut, where he devoted many years of service, contributing his skills and work ethic with unwavering dedication. His colleagues and friends remember him as a dependable and hardworking individual who brought his best to every task and project he undertook.
Beyond his career, Roger was cherished by his loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Marian Belanger (Panik), who lovingly cared for him throughout his life. Roger was a beloved brother to Debra (Roger) Beernaert, Joseph, Jr. (Sylvia) Belanger, Richard Belanger, John (Sherri) Belanger, and Stephanie (Joe) Ewald. Together with his siblings, he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and support.
Roger’s family circle extended further to include his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, all of whom he held dear. He was also surrounded by other loving family members and friends who valued his presence in their lives and will greatly miss his kindness and warmth.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Belanger, whose memory he honored throughout his lifetime.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, dedication to family, and the positive impact he had on those around him. Roger’s legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the colleagues who respected him.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time. Roger’s memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
Visitation is on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 3 pm to 8 at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard); there will be a service at the funeral home the same day at 6 pm. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made as the donor chooses.
