Ronald A. Archibald, known to many as "Archie," was born on March 18th 1971. Died on April 8th 2026 at the age of 55.
Ron was a man who cherished family and maintained close bonds with those dear to him throughout his life. He is survived by his longtime partner of 20 years, Lisa Hoak, whose companionship was a pillar of strength and warmth. His mother, Bonnie Archibald, remains a central figure among his surviving relatives, embodying both the legacy and love that shaped Rons life.
Ron was a loyal member of the IBEW Local 58 Electrical Union. He volunteered often, and was on various committees. He cherished the friendships of his union brothers and sisters. He was also union judge for many years. The IBEW was a huge part of Ron's life.
His familial circle further extends to his nephews and nieces: Matthew IV, Annabelle, Elizabeth, and Alexandra. He loved to tell them stories, give advice and even juggle for you.
Ronald A. Archibald’s lineage also includes cherished family members who preceded him in death. He was preceded by his Aunt, Kathy McPherson, and his uncle, James Archibald, as well as his grandparents, June and James Archibald. He had a special bond with his Grandma June. Their memories remained close to Rons heart, linking past and present through the enduring bonds of kinship.
We almost forgot the cats, Gus and Tom. They were his daily cuddle buddies. He favored orange cats.
The passing of Ronald A. Archibald leaves a profound void among all who knew him. His memory will be honored and cherished by those who loved him and those whose lives he touched. In remembering Ron we celebrate a life well-lived. Ron loved the Tigers,Wolverines and Redwings sport teams. He enjoyed music, sending text to his friends and family and interacting with animials. Animials seem to gravate towards him. Ron also was a member of the Michigan Cacti and Succlent society.
