Click on the tribute wall above tov iew Ronald's video tribute. Ronald James Foshag, age 65 of Monroe, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Born March 30, 1956 in Monroe, Ronald was the son of Kenneth and Mary (Dusseau) Foshag. A 1975 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School, he married the love of his life, Laurie Drouillard, September 26, 1986 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Ronald worked at the Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant for over 19 years, retiring in 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman with his love of hiking, hunting, and fishing. He also loved gardening, woodworking, and visiting his cabin up north. His most treasured times were those spent with his family and he will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Ronald was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, Laurie, his wife of the past 34 years; children: Ryan Foshag and Jennifer Foshag; his mother Mary Foshag; siblings: Tim (Alice) Foshag, Tom (Vicki) Foshag, Christine (Bill) Frysinger, Charlie (Carol) Foshag, Rod (Sue) Foshag, John (Vickie) Foshag, Joe (Dawn) Foshag and Debra (Leo) Johnson; as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lynne (Dan) Scorziello, Suzanne (David) Doom and Beth (Kim) McLennan; and many nieces and nephews. Sadly he was preceded in death by his father; and a brother-in-law, Stephen Drouillard. "To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
