Ruth Charlotte Costanzo

Ruth Charlotte Costanzo, 101, of Trenton, Michigan, went home to be with Jesus on January 24, 2026. Ruth was born on August 6, 1924, in Chariton, Iowa.

Ruth was a passionate volunteer, generously giving her time to various hospitals, the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and after-school Bible clubs. A lifelong member of Woodhaven Bible Church, she faithfully served over the years as a deaconess, Sunday school teacher, and Vacation Bible School volunteer. She was a very generous supporter of many causes, with a special heart for those that shared the Gospel.

Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marlin Costanzo, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters: Linda (Gerard) Bennett, Sheryl (the late Timothy) Zambo, Kathy (Ernest) Schaffer, and Susan (Wesley) Solo; twelve grandchildren—Kristen, Erin, Daniel, Nicole, Kelly, Alexis, Michelle, Jennifer, Heather, Justin, Kordi, and Scott; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodhaven Bible Church, 18650 West Road, Woodhaven, Michigan, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodhaven Bible Church in support of their missions.
