Ruth Miriem Floyd

Click on tribute wall above to view Ruth's memorial video. Born in Detroit, Ruth was the daughter of Ross and Alicia (Davis) Barton. She married the love of her life, Donald Floyd on December 31, 1970. Sadly he preceded her in death March 1, 1984. A dedicated homemaker, Ruth also worked various retail jobs throughout her life. Ruth leaves to cherish her memory her children: Laurence Forbes and Kimberly Bailey; step children Donald E. Floyd, Jr. and Ruthann Abdo; grandchildren: Jessica, Robbie, Brandi, Dylan, Michael Jr., Jacob, Ernest, Christine, and Derrick; nine great grandchildren: Landon, Isabella, Mackenzie, Zoey, Willow, Robbie Jr. Piper, Lillie and Abbie; as well as a sister Alicia (Philip) Marnon. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Gail-Lu Sheardown and a son-in-law Ted Bailey.
