Sandra M. Caddell, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Gibraltar, Michigan at the age of 80. Born on October 10, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, Sandra's life was a tapestry woven with love, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.
Throughout her life, Sandra found joy in various hobbies that nurtured her artistic spirit. She had a passion for knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint, spending countless hours perfecting her crafts. Her creativity extended into the realm of arts and crafts, where she expressed her vibrant personality and brought smiles to those around her. In addition, Sandra had a profound love for birds; their presence brought her peace and happiness, and she often delighted in observing them in their natural habitats.
Sandra's legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her sons Darrell Mosser and Joey Karakula. Her daughter Pamela Karakula and her additional daughters, Jennifer Ruffner and Naomi McCann. She was also a loving owner to her two beautiful birds, Scooter and Ernie. They were her natural habitat and were part of her life for 17 years.
Her family brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Sandra was also a proud grandmother to Shelby Mosser, Raven Patrick, and Teresa Faitel.
In addition to her immediate family, Sandra is lovingly remembered by her brother Jay Caddell and sister Cheryl Barbosa, who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Philip, Gary, and Connie Caddell, whose memories she treasured in her heart.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Sandra's life at The Ford Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 23620 North Huron River Dr, Rockwood, MI 48173. Visitation will take place on July 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
Sandra M. Caddell's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love will be cherished memories as they carry her legacy forward.
