Sandra Jean Roy

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Sandra (Sandy) Roy age 55 of South Rockwood who passed away peacefully in Trenton on July 12, 2026.

She was born in Trenton July 4,1971 to the late Aime and Rita Roy.

Sandy’s life was a remarkable testament to courage and resilience.

She was blessed with the priceless gift of a kidney and pancreas transplant. That second chance at life gave her precious years filled with love, laughter, family and memories that will forever be cherished.

Even in her passing, her legacy of hope continues. She became an organ donor, giving others the opportunity for renewed life and healing. Just as someone once changed her life through the gift of donation, she carries forth the kindness shown to her.

She will be forever loved, deeply missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by her siblings Daniel (Sheila), Michele (Imad), Larry (Brenda), Diane and Carol. Her many loving nieces and nephews will cherish the special relationships she had with each of them.

Special thanks to all of her wonderful care team, especially Dr. Joel Weinberg - Nephrologist and Dr. Coye T. Carver - Ophthalmologist who aided her throughout her life.
