Scott Anthony Jaciuk, a man whose spirit was as steadfast and tenacious as the man he was, passed away peacefully at his home in Wyandotte, Michigan, on April 27, 2026 at the age of 58. Born on May 2, 1967, Scott was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, loyalty, and laughter.

Scott’s life was defined by his unwavering dedication and hard work. As a laborer for an asphalt company, he took immense pride in his craft, never shying away from the toughest tasks. Yet beyond his laborious days, Scott's true character shone brightest. Known for his razor-sharp sarcasm and infectious humor, he had a way of bringing smiles to those around him, even in challenging times. He was a very good man at heart, always ready to extend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying kindness in its purest form.

His passions were many and vibrant. Scott was a fervent fan of the Detroit Lions, a hunter who found solace in nature’s embrace, a golfer who enjoyed the camaraderie of the green, and a lover of loud, metal music that echoed his spirited personality. These interests were not just hobbies, but reflections of his zest for life.

Family was Scott’s greatest pride and joy. He shared 30 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Trina Jaciuk, a partnership woven with love and mutual respect. Together, they raised two sons, Jacob and Jeremiah, whom Scott cherished above all. He was a devoted son to Francis and Dorothy Jaciuk and a loving brother to Shelly (Jim) Roush, Connie Smith, and Lesley (Randy) Jankowski. He bore the sorrow of having lost his brother, Brian Jaciuk, and brother-in-law, Bob Smith, but his strength carried on in him. Beyond immediate family, Scott was a generous uncle to many and a friend to all who knew him. His faithful dogs, Trixie and Mavis, were his constant companions, reflecting his nurturing and caring spirit.

Scott’s departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him. However, his memory endures through the laughter he sparked, the kindness he bestowed, and the indelible mark he left on his family and friends. He was a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and gave selflessly.

As we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the life of Scott Anthony Jaciuk—a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle, and a friend—whose legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those lucky enough to have known him. May he rest peacefully, surrounded by eternal love.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes.
