Sharon J. Kielbasa

Sharon J. Kielbasa, née Mastey, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on January 9, 1941, Sharon lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet devotion to those she loved.

She will be remembered as the central matriarch of her family and friends, a steady and loving presence whose care touched many lives. Sharon loved gardening, finding joy and peace in tending to growing things. She was also a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton, Michigan, where her faith was an important part of her life.

Above all, Sharon’s life was centered on her family. She is survived by her grandchildren, Melissa Kizer, Kristin (Nick) Kielbasa, Jillian Kielbasa, Nicholas (Kamry) Schultz, Micheala (Chris) Tufnell, and Carly Schultz. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, including Angel, Olivia, Nicholas, Ryan, Rory, Mylah, Novaleigh, Bennett, and Christian.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Kielbasa, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Kielbasa; her daughter, Gayle Schultz; her parents, Joseph and Gertrude Mastey, her brother Joseph (Bill) Mastey, and her sister, Cynthia Bittner.
