Shirley F. Landrith, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Brownstown Twp. She was born on December 28, 1938, and throughout her life, she exemplified the very essence of compassion and care, both in her personal relationships and as a dedicated registered nurse.
Shirley was known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering love for her family. She spent her days not just caring for those in need through her nursing career, but also by creating a loving home filled with warmth and laughter. Her legacy continues through her beloved daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Fitzpatrick, Laura (Rory) Johnson, and Terrie (April) Beehler-Denny, who carry forward her values and kindness.
She delighted in the joys of being a grandmother to John Michael (Kellie), Meghan (Brent), Christopher, Kathleen, Sarah, Rebecca, Asa Robert, and Aric. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, as did her great-grandchildren—Stevie (Ben), Brady, Jude, Adeline, Scarlett, Lance, Sophia, Adriana, Elijah, and Julia—who brought her immense joy and a sense of wonder. The newest addition to her legacy, great-great-grandson Oliver, was a precious light in her life, further brightening the family she so dearly loved.
Shirley's love extended to her late husband, Robert Lee Landrith, Sr., and their son, Robert Lee Landrith, Jr., both of whom are dearly missed. Their memories continue to shape the lives of those they left behind. Additionally, Shirley is preceded in death by two siblings and her parents, who undoubtedly influenced the caring woman she became.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place on July 3, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., with a service at 11:00 a.m., both at Woodhaven Bible Church in Trenton, Michigan. Following the funeral service, she will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock at 3:00 p.m., where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey.
Shirley F. Landrith’s spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who loved her, a testament to the love she generously shared throughout her life.
