Shirley Ann Nasceif, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, and dedicated homemaker, peacefully departed this world on October 13, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on March 28, 1946, in Murray, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Paul and Velma (McCage) Gilmore. Shirley lived a life filled with love, family, and unwavering devotion to those dearest to her.As a graduate of Highland Park High School, she married the love of her life, Paul Nasceif, in 1966. Sadly he preceded her in death November 11, 2003. Shirley embarked on a journey that would be characterized by her commitment to family and home. She dedicated her life to creating a nurturing environment for her loved ones, always ensuring that they felt cherished and supported. Her warmth and kindness left a profound impact on everyone who crossed her path.Shirley was a devoted mother to her sons Martin (Joanne Perrigan) Nasceif and Michael Nasceif, as well as her daughter Lea (Chris) Martinez. Her love extended beyond her children, enveloping her family in a loving embrace that included her nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Each moment spent with them was a treasure she held dear, often reminiscing about their achievements and joyfully sharing in their lives.Shirley’s bond with her sisters, Delores Golebiewski and Paula Stowe, was another vital part of her life. Together, they shared laughter, stories, and enduring memories, supporting each other through life's joys and challenges.While she was profoundly grateful for the love that surrounded her, Shirley also carried the memories of those she lost. Her son, Mickey Nasceif, and her brother, Thomas Gilmore, were dearly missed and remained in her heart, reminding her of the love that transcends even the deepest of losses.Shirley Ann Nasceif’s life was a testament to the power of love and devotion, and though she is gone, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her soul rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life.
