Shirley Sirls

Shirley Sirls, age 92, of Gibraltar, Michigan was surrounded by loved ones as she relocated to be with the Lord on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Shirley was born May 28, 1934, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, as the daughter of the late Gerald Springsted and Louise Springsted, and sister of the late Thomas Springsted. In addition to her parents and brother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sirls.

Shirley loved flowers, puzzles, and an occasional visit to a casino, but nothing made her happier than spending time with her family. She will be missed greatly and is survived by her twin daughters, Kim (James) Migliore and Karen (Robert) Huckabone, her son Kenneth (Cynthia) Sirls, daughter Kathleen Sirls, daughter Alison (Dino) Cancilliari, and son William Sirls.

Shirley also loved and was loved by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Family members will hold a private ceremony. In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
