Stanley J. Korytkowski ; age 82, January 26, 2017 of Allen Park. Stan grew up in Wyandotte, Michigan and was the son of Stanislaus Korytkowski and Mary Lusinski. He attended St. Stan's school and went on to Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School. He married his bride Lilyan C. Snyder in 1954 and they made their home in River Rouge, Michigan where they had three daughters. In 1969 they moved the family to Allen Park, Michigan. Stan worked as a truck driver for Peters Sausage before going into the U.S. Army in January 1957. He served two years in the military and after his discharge in January 1959 he continued his truck driving career for Tip Top Bakery and then Farm Crest Bakery, where he began his career in supervision. After the closure of Farm Crest, Stan worked as a District Manager for Great Scott Supermarket and then Supervisor for Marc-Eagle Bakery. When his ability to work became limited by MS, Stan became the family's Mr. Fix-it, repairing things not only around his own house but the homes of family and friends. Stan is the beloved husband of the late Lilyan. Loving father of Romaine (Bill) Curtiss, Denise (Tracy) Farrell, and Diana (Rudie) Noble. Dearest grandpa of Justin (Julie) Curtiss, Michael Curtiss, Ryan Curtiss, Breana Noble, Brendan Noble and great-grandpa of Bailey, Aubrey and Addison Curtiss. Dear brother of Ed (Kay), Mary Ann (Ron) Baillargeon, and Matthew (Wendy) Snyder. The family suggests donations in memory of Stanley to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
