Stanley T. Keda

Trenton – Stanley Theodore Keda, 69, died May 9, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was very happily married to Peggy (O’Neil) Keda-Larson for 29 years. Stan is the beloved father of Jeremy (Katja) Campbell and Elaina (Jeff) Halicki; proud grandpa of Jeremy, Miranda and Emma; brother of John (Annalee) Keda. Also survived by an abundance of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born January 24, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan the son of John and Genevieve Keda, he developed a passion for cars at a young age. Stan met the love of his life, Peggy, in 1987, literally sweeping her off her feet. (They met at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, then married five years later.) Both very devout Christians, they shared their love of God's people through their devotion to their family and selflessly helping others in need. Stan always had a sports car in his possession, starting with a banana yellow 1981 corvette, then a 2005 fire engine red Ford T-Bird, and loved “driving Miss Peggy” everywhere in them. Stan followed his passion for cars into the automotive industry, spending 30 years of his life at Ford Motor Company’s Dearborn Assembly plant building the Mustang. In 2001 Stan retired from Ford and followed another passion, videography, to start Stan’s Affordable Videography, focusing almost exclusively on weddings and never looked back. Now 20 years later, Stan leaves behind a memorable trail of priceless moments creatively captured on video for clients, family and friends. Even when not on location, you would frequently find Stan behind a lens at special events, parties, or his grandchildren’s activities to capture the precious moments for all. Stan was an avid golfer and bowler and excelled at both. But his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his wife Peggy. They gardened together, drove together (which included long, daily excursions through Elizabeth Park), and prayed together. Even their Facebook page and email address were shared. They are soulmates in the truest of sense. When not spending time with Peggy, Stan could be found conversing on the phone with his brother, walking his granddaughter Emma to and from school, just hanging with her, or investing time supporting any one of his three grandchildren, all of whom he adored.
