Stephanie Kean

Listen to Obituary

Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Stephanie was the daughter of Eugene and Erika (Heinrich) Eisaman. A graduate of Buena High School, she married the love of her life, John Kean, on September 14, 1979. Stephanie was a dedicated homemaker and she also worked for many years as a waitress. Stephanie knew no strangers and was known as a friend to all. Her greatest enjoyment and pride in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory, John, her husband of the past 38 years; her children: Michael (Lisa) Kean of Carleton, Kevin (Amanda) Kean of Carleton and Kelly Kean of Newport; 9 grandchildren: Donnie Raymer, Donovan Valdes, Tyler Wurtsmith, Gracie Valdes, Markus Valdes, Danielle Vandevelde, Alexis Vandevelde, Corey Vandevelde and Jakob Barber; as well as her siblings: Antje Micheau of Monroe and Tracy (Judy) Eisaman of LaSalle. Sadly she was preceded in death by a sister Katherine Eisaman and her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Stephanie may be made to the Henry Ford Cancer Institute-Brownstown: 19675 Allen Road, Brownstown, Michigan 48183; 734.479.3311 or visit www.henryford.com/locations/hfci-locations, and click on the make a gift tab at the bottom of the page.
