Steven Pitts

Steven Pitts passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on February 25, 1971, Steven will be remembered with love by all who knew him and by the family who held such an important place in his life.

Steve was the rock of his family. He was a loving husband, an incredible father, a proud grandfather, and the kind of man everyone knew they could count on. Family meant everything to Steve, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for the people he loved.

Steve loved the outdoors and was happiest when he was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time with the people who mattered most to him. Those ordinary moments became some of the most extraordinary memories his family will now hold onto forever.

Steve had a way of making his family feel safe simply because he was there. He was the person you called when you needed help, advice, a laugh, or just needed to know everything was going to be okay. Losing him leaves a space that no one else could ever fill.

Steve’s life was far too short, but the love he gave during those years was immeasurable. His legacy will live on through his children, his grandchildren, the stories that will continue to be told, the traditions that will be carried on, and every person fortunate enough to have been loved by him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Pam Pitts; his children, Nikki and Tony; and his grandson, Cadyn, who brought another generation of love into his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Lisa Milczak, Jeff Pitts, Tracy Pitts, Danielle Kammers, and Billy Richardson. Together, they carry forward the memory of Steven and the bond of family that remained central throughout his life.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Danny Pitts; his mother, Dollie Pitts; and his brother, D. Their memories remained part of his story, and they are remembered alongside him with love.

Steve will be missed more than words could ever express, loved for a lifetime, and remembered forever.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Ridge Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 2272 W Jefferson Ave, Trenton, MI 48183. A funeral service will be held there the same day at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pam Pitts to go towards a memorial plaque for his final resting place.
