Theodore Robert Majerski

Theodore (Ted) Robert Majerski, 73, of Monroe, passed away on August 16th at 7:05pm at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. He grew up most of his life in Maybee, MI. He went to school at St. Joseph Maybee and graduated from Monroe High School. Ted worked at Time Container/ Jefferson Smurfit until he became disabled. Ted always loved his snacks, especially potato chips and soda and was a strong supporter of local businesses.

Ted was survived by his twin sister, Cathy (Rodney) Gasper, John (Julie) Majerski, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, special cousin Pauline (Paul) Balog, and many other cousins. He is also survived by special friends at Marion Place (including his girlfriend Rose) - he loved living there; special friends at Seacrest Nursing Home (including friend Chuck and Ted's girlfriend Carol); and his wonderful caretaker while at Marion Place, Martha Ireland. The family is thankful for the wonderful medical and support staff who cared for Ted.

Ted lost his parents at a very young age. His Uncle Wally (Majerski) cared for Ted and his two brothers; and what a blessing that was, especially with Uncle Wally being a bachelor and farmer. Uncle Walley took great care of his nephews, he was a great cook, and took the three boys to St. Jospeph's school in Maybee every day.

Ted was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Rosalie (Labodie) Majerski, his brother Thomas Majerski; Uncles Walter ("Wally"), Ed, and Frank Majerski; Aunt Rose (Majerski) Miller, and special cousin Paul Balog.There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
