Theresa Elizabeth March

Born in Wyandotte, Theresa was the daughter of Joseph and Jennie (Lapinski) Miazgowicz. A graduate of Roosevelt High School, she married the love of her life, Thomas March, on July 18, 1959. Sadly he preceded her in death, August of 2011. A dedicated homemaker after her 29 year retirement from the City of Monroe. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she was also married. Theresa was an avid bowler and a member of the Monroe Woman's Bowling Hall of Fame. Besides her years of bowling Theresa loved to go to the casino but especially loved mowing her large yard on her John Deere tractor.

Theresa leaves to cherish her memory her children: Linda (Kevin) Dexter, Sue (Earl) Campbell and Cynthia (Dwayne) Sheeks; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; as well as a brother Joseph (Jean) Miazgowicz. She had many nieces, nephews and friends thst she loved deeply. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 children: Frederic March (1975) and Amy Cates(2023); and 5 siblings: Caroline Bujno, Patricia Weckerly, Thomas Miazgowicz, David Miazgowicz and Mary Miazgowicz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Theresa may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
