Listen to Obituary

Thomas Patrick Lemaire, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on June 18, 1983, Thomas will be remembered with deep love for the light he brought to the lives around him and for the qualities that made him so easy to cherish.

Thomas was a very talented and creative artist, and his creativity was one of the many ways he expressed himself in the world. He also had a great sense of humor, a gift that could ease a moment and bring laughter to those fortunate enough to be near him. He was known as someone who gave the best bear hugs, offering warmth and comfort in a way that will not be forgotten. Thomas loved nature, and that love reflected a spirit that found meaning and peace in the world around him.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Lemaire; his brothers, John  (Lisa Ross) Lemaire and David Lemaire; and his sisters, Andrea (Dave) Siwicki and Rebecca (Gary) Napier. He also leaves behind a beloved circle of nieces and nephews: David (Samantha) Lemaire, Justice Lemaire, Ryan McMillian, Wade Lemaire, Gary Napier Jr., Harlee Napier, and great-niece Lealan Lemaire. He is also survived by his sweet and affectionate bird Lucky. Each of them carries forward memories of his humor, his creativity, and the affection he shared so freely.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lemaire, Sr. and Deborah Wint, his sister Melissa Lemaire, and alongside his most beloved partner Philip Watkins.

Those who knew Thomas will remember not only what he did, but how he made people feel—welcomed, amused, and cared for. His memory will live on in the love of his family, in the laughter he inspired, and in the lasting impression of a gentle embrace. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101.
