Thomas Raymond Cole

Thomas Raymond Cole, beloved husband of Harriet , passed away on November 27, 2021 at Oakwood Hospital. Tom was born in Detroit , MI on January 6, 1936 to Donald William and Harriet Julia Cole. Wonderful and loving father of Karen (Curt) Brown, Kevin Cole, and Keith (Margaret) Cole. Loving grandfather of Dana and Roberto Munoz, Nick, Kyle and Gabriel Cole. Apple of his eye, Great Grandson, Kingston Brian Cole. Also extended family Ryan and Kristy Brown and children, Alexia, Avaley and Chase. His great nephews are Richard and Daniel Brewington, sons of his nephew, Richard Brewington, who is now deceased. Thomas had his sister, Isabel Brewington and brother, Donald William, Jr. who are now deceased. Tom met his soul mate, Harriet, at Wayne State and married Nov. 19, 1955. They had their 66th wedding anniversary November 19. 2021. They raised 3 children, Karen, Kevin and Keith. Tom graduated from Walsh College and his profession was a CPA. Tom and Harriet led a very busy life besides organizations they belonged to. They loved to travel in Michigan with The Grand Hotel their favorite and in the last few years celebrated their wedding anniversary at the hotel. Loved to fly, loved to dance and loved life. A great 66 years together. They always said the secret to a successful marriage is marry your best friend and make sure God is your pilot. Tom will be missed by his family and by his friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yankee Air Museum, Children Incorporated, Big Oak Ranch or Christ the King Lutheran Church.
