Thomas Roland Wolf

Thomas Roland Wolf, born on March 31, 1950, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, His journey through life was marked by kindness, service, and a steadfast devotion to both loved ones and community.

Born March 31, 1950 Thomas was the son of Samuel and Jacqline (Williams) Wolf. He was a proud graduate of Carlson High School, an early sign of the commitment to achievement that would define his life. With characteristic determination, he went on to earn his Bachelor Degree, a milestone that opened new doors and opportunities for him. Not only did he pursue higher education, but he also answered the call of duty as a veteran of the Navy, serving his country with honor and distinction overseas in Vietnam, earning many medals and awards. Thomas worked as an Engineer with Chrysler for over 39 ½ years, retiring in 2006.

His sense of service continued in civilian life as a valued member of the Wyandotte VFW , The American Legion and the Point Mouilee Duck Hunters Association. Through these organizations, Thomas built deep and lasting friendships, found ways to give back, and shared in meaningful traditions.

Beyond his accomplishments, Thomas cherished the simple joys of life. He found fulfillment tinkering and working on motorcycles, transforming mechanical challenges into sources of satisfaction and pride. An avid collector, Thomas appreciated the history and beauty in Indian Artifacts, a passion that connected him to nature and cultivated a lifelong admiration of craftsmanship.

At the core of Thomas’s life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Wolf, whose steadfast partnership was a source of strength and happiness. Together, they built a foundation of support and understanding. Thomas was a devoted father to his son, Sam Wolf, passing down wisdom, humor, and a legacy of integrity. His brother, Joe (Gloria) Ballog, also survives him, sharing in memories both treasured and formative, as well as several nieces and nephews. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.

Thomas Roland Wolf’s life is best remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his love of learning and adventure, and the meaningful connections he formed throughout the years. He leaves behind a legacy defined by honor, laughter, dedication, and the undeniable spirit of a life well lived.
