She met her lifelong partner, Russell Turner, early in life, and their bond — forged in the tender halls of seventh grade — blossomed into a loving marriage that endured through every season. Together, they built a beautiful family, grounding their lives in mutual respect and profound affection.

Her children, Robert, Caitlan, and Russell, carry forward her legacy of compassion and resilience. Tina took immense joy in her role as grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Derrick, Logan, Mikayla, Brantley, Bryleigh, Brooklyn, and Russell IV "RJ." Each grandchild knew her love deeply—a love that will forever echo in their hearts and lives.

Family was Tina’s foundation. She was the daughter of Robert Hawkins and the late Angelina Hawkins, whose memory she honored throughout her life.
