Violet H. Bleyaert

Born in Monroe, Violet was the daughter of Frank & Hattie (Jondro) Strimbel. She married the love of her life, Grant Bleyaert, on June 8, 1940. Sadly he preceded her in death November 16, 1995. A dedicated homemaker, Violet worked for over 15 years in the Laundry at the IHM Motherhouse. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Violet leaves to cherish her memory her children: Lamont (Julie) Bleyaert of Woodstock, Georgia, Martin Bleyaert of Monroe, Margo (Ray) Knabusch of Monroe, Marcia Krueger of LaSalle and Marlene (Gary) Coleman of Spencer, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; her Twin Sister Helen Zenz of Waterford and a daughter-in-law Brenda Bleyaert of Carleton. In addition to her husband and parents, Violet was preceded in death by a son Mark Bleyaert; son-in-law Loyd Krueger; 3 brothers: Leo Strimbel, Ben Strimbel and William Strimbel as well as 3 sisters: Cecelia Strimbel, Marie Geiermann, Hilda Petrovich and 2 great grandsons.
