Virginia Fischer

Virginia Fischer, of Westland, passed away at age 85 on December 20, 2021, after a short illness. One tough cookie, she was known for her tenacity and spunk, and loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family, particularly at Christmas. She was married to the love of her life, Donald Fischer, for 39 years until his death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her youngest son Gary (Kathy) Fischer in 2016. She leaves behind her children Michael (Denise- decd) Fischer, Joyce (Kenny) Woolford, Dennis Fischer, and Donald (Desine) Fischer. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Melissa, Kelly, Jamie, Amanda, Katelyn, and Gillian; as well as her great-grandchildren Kenny, Alex, Jase, Zachary, Brienna, and Hayleigh. There will be no funeral services, as per her request. Her final wish was to be cremated and interred with her late husband Donald. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend some time creating memories with and enjoying the company of your loved ones while they are still on this earth.
