Vivian J. Cousino

Vivian Jannette Cousino, age 94, passed away October 28th, 2022.

Born June 22nd, 1928 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Percy M. Bishop and Beaulah E. (Wilson). She attended Flat Rock High School through the 11th grade before marrying the late Stanley Cousino on October 21st, 1945. Together they would raise 11 children.

Vivian was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and canning her crops. She was a member of Ash Township Seniors and also a member of St. Mary’s Church in Rockwood.

Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory four children, Betty Pfeiffer of Rockwood, Linda (Gary) Campbell of Newport, Gene (Robin) Cousino of Taylor, and Mary (Russell) Roberts of Newport, 22 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.

Sadly, in addition to her husband and parents, Vivian was preceded in death by seven sons, Robert, Joseph, Ralph, Lynn, James, Dale, and Thomas, sister Jeanine Page, step sister Ruth Healey, and step brother Rudy Bishop.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday November 1st, 2022 from 2:00pm- 6:00pm and Wednesday November 2nd, 2022 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service 12:00pm, at the Ford Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River Dr., Rockwood, MI 48173. Interment to follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Twp., MI.

Memorial contributions in Vivian’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
