Wendy Marie Gardiner

Click on the tribute wall above to view Wendy's video tribute. Wendy Marie Gardiner, age 53 of Erie, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. Born September 15, 1967 in Monroe, Wendy was the daughter of Edward and Carol (Raymond) Bomia. A graduate of Erie Mason High School, she married the love of her life, James Gardiner Sr., on September 8, 1991. Wendy took great pride in taking care of her home, her family and her flower garden. She enjoyed hosting family parties, trips to Florida and Country Music. Wendy had hosted several Foreign Exchange Students throughout the years and was known for her infectious laugh. Wendy leaves to cherish her memory her husband James Gardiner Sr.; her sons: Jimmy (Leticia Abalos) Gardiner Jr. and Tim (Cheyenne) Gardiner; grandchildren: Avery Allor, Giovanni Gardiner and Timmy Gardiner; as well as her mother Carol (Harry Bodie) Bomia; and siblings Julie (Paul) Burgard, Ed (Angie) Bomia, Corey (Melissa) Bomia and Troy (Shannon O’Bryan) Bomia; many nieces and nephews; and last but not least her cat Binks and her dog Bailey. Sadly she was preceded in death by her father; two brothers; Timothy Bomia and Steven Bomia; and a special aunt Joanie Raymond.
