It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of William Thomas Kennedy, age 76. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21st, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born June 22nd, 1950, in Ontario, Canada, Bill was the son of Earl and Ethel Kennedy and a 1969 graduate of Southgate High School. His life was filled with music, laughter, and the kind of stories only he could tell.

Bill is survived by his Devoted wife, Debbie; daughters DeRhonda and Angel; grandson Trey; brother James Kennedy and wife Pamela; and his beloved dog, Baby.

Bill was known for his deep love of God, his family, rock‑n‑roll, motorcycles (helmet always required), and his famously bad dad jokes. A true Detroit sports fan, he cheered for the Lions, Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings with unwavering loyalty.
