William Durdik

Durdik, William Bill of Grosse Ile passed away at the age of 74 while working up north at his son Greg's property in the Alpena area. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Helen Durdik. Bill leaves his wife Jean of 54 years, son's Mark Durdik (his girlfriend Kim) of Alpena, Greg (Roby) of Fairbanks, Alaska; One daughter Mary Kay (Roger) Jones of Brighton. Also survived by seven grandchildren William, Sam, Dagon, Marisha, Drew, Rachel and Zachary. William joined the Marine Corp at the age of 17. He worked for 22 years at Ford Motor Company and retired at the age of 55. He enjoyed boating for many years with wonderful family and friends. Currently enjoyed golfing and hunting but his passion was being at the farm in Alpena.
