William "Dan" Jervis, aged 74, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. Born on May 18, 1951, in Prestonburg, Kentucky, Dan was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Dan dedicated over 27 years of his professional life to McClouth Steel, where he served as a Crew Leader, as well as 19 years at United States Gypsum. His strong work ethic and commitment to excellence made him a respected figure among his colleagues and an inspiration to those who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Jervis, to whom he was married for 52 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Dan was a proud father to his three children: Keith (Jasmine) Jervis, Brian Jervis, and Kitty (Daniel) Klofta. His grandchildren, Codey, Madison, Kellen, Zackery, Cole, Clinton, and Lena, brought him immense joy and pride. Dan also leaves behind his brothers, Stephan, Marvin, and Vernon Jervis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him fondly.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracey Jervis, and brothers Mike (Susie) Jervis and Randall Jervis.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on September 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101. A funeral service will be held the following day, September 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at the same location, followed by a by a burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI.
Dan Jervis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, dedication, and family will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
