William was born on March 11, 1929 at Lincoln Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and died on January 29, 2017 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in at the age of 87. He served in the Korean War in the United States Navy from 1952 — 1954 on the USS Princeton which was an Aircraft Carrier and he held a rank of Seaman. Bill married Theresa Kendzierski on October 6, 1956 in Dearborn Michigan at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and set up their Home in Trenton Michigan. They had two children John (Debbie), who was born on January 14, 1960 and Jeff (Alex), who was born on September 10, 1965 Bill was a Service Technician for E & G Appliance Service in and around Detroit and the surrounding suburbs. Many times while he was on the road working, he always took time to visit Friends and Family members especially his Daughter-in-laws Debbie and Alex. After his retirement in 1989 he then went back to work at Manheim Auto Actions as a Safety/Traffic Director and continued in that position until 2009. (20 years). In his younger years for leisure he enjoyed - Roller Skating, Bowling and Square Dancing. He also had a real passion for Camping and traveling, especially to Jeff's cottage up in Caseville, Michigan. Bill was an avid supporter of Michigan Harness Racing. He enjoyed traveling to watch Jeff's horse's race along with following the younger horses in the State Fair Circuits. Bill was always a Fixer — If something was broken, he could always figure out a way to make it work. He was always available anytime to help his friends and family members in whatever they needed, whether the need was fixing an appliance or helping someone move. He always had time to be there for them. In his later years for enjoyment he worked on puzzles, did Dog Sitting for our Puppies, and spending time with his Grandchildren, which were all very important to him. Bill always had a kind word for whomever he was around, always wanted to joke and make people laugh. Anyone that took care of him said that he was a very sweet man and was always a pleasure to be around. Over the course of his Life, he welcomed three Grand Children: Matthew, Mark and Allyson and six Fur Ever Friends: Thor, Brandy, Arminous, Mandy, Tiberious, and Macie. A memorial service is Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 2 pm at First Presbyte
