Zella Marie Youkna

Zella Marie Youkna (Hetterscheidt) was 83 years old when she peacefully went to be with Jesus on October 2, 2026. She is remembered for her strong faith, generosity, love, and devotion to her family. She enjoyed her profession as Deputy Clerk for the 33rd District Court in Woodhaven and the wonderful friends she made there.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Youkna; her daughter Lynda (Dave) Martenson; her son David (Jill) Schlarb; her daughter Angela (Jim) Centlivre; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Erick Schlarb; her parents, Carl and Hylon Hetterscheidt; and eight siblings.
